Cheapest and most comprehensive Landlord insurance?

Fair enough. With the larger insurers, wardrobes, carpets seem to be covered under the buildings insurance, so therefore there is no need for contents insurance as well (assuming there are no appliances and furniture at the IP for the tenants to use).

Had a disaster in one IP (sewrage backed up and exploded all over the inside!!) AAMI were great. one phone call and all done.
But they wouldn't cover me for another IP with multiple tenants. Went with Fire and General...No idea what they will be like if i need to claim, but they were reasonable premiums I thought.

Cheers

I have 3 with Honan insurance brokers, more expensive then NRMA by abit but you get alot more. Have not made a claim so can not comment on this aspect

Recently moved most to mine to Westpac. The claims we have made through them previously have been quickly dealt with and paid in full, the assessor even pointed out the best way to word the claim to get maximum payment. Very happy.

Hope this helps
