Claiming Insurance for lost Rent

The Body Corporate resealed the roof above my rental unit due to water leakage.
The living room has bad mould growing on the plaster walls due to dampness, I was told the body corp. was going to repair/paint my living room. I can't rent the unit until this is fixed.
Am I able to claim against their insurance for the rental lost due to the property being vacant???

Many of the strata reports I see, show that BCs have insurances in place for 'loss of rent'.
