Claiming outgoings paid in Settlement

Hi guys,

I'm assuming you can claim all outgoings paid as part of your settlement but just wanted confirmation of this. ie if you've paid $400 worth of adjustment for council rates in settlement, I assume you can claim this as a cost, even though you don't have an invoice etc (I assume statement of settlement serves as this?)

the solicitor pays this as a disbursemnt for you, their invoice should be evidence for this
