Connecting water/power to IP (Moreton Bay, QLD)

Hi all,
House we've bought is in Moreton bay region QLD and we have a few weeks reno to do before putting tenants in - just wondering what we do about connection water/power prior to tenants going in and creating their own account?
Do we just call our PPOR supplier and add to existing account? And does the same go for water?
Any advice is much appreciated.

If you do connect then make sure YOU arrange for reading and transfer to new tenants or you will foot the bill.

Thanks Paul, I assume I don't have any choice if the cosmetic reno will take 2-3 weeks and the tradies need power/water? I will make sure I do that for sure, thanks for the tip

When we need power between tenants i put it in my name and have a final reading when we are finished. Water is in owner's name (BCC) so that doesn't need any action except to read the meter at the start of the new tenancy.
