Curious on what the additional costs would be as part of a house demolition that would contain asbestos. The asbestos sheeting is part of the external wall cladding (ie a bit like a vertical weatherboard pattern) and perhaps under the eaves. So what would be the Delta in costs between a std demolition/removal, compared to one that contains asbestos? (in Victoria)

Could be zero with Joe Dodgy or up to $10k - get a couple of quotes or speak with some demolition crews for a ballpark figure.
Had a quote last week for pre-reno removal: about $1000 per smallish wet area (main bathroom, laundry, ensuite), then about $2300 for the eaves (which required scaffolding for half the house). Total $5600. Includes GST.
You may get a cheaper rate for a knock-down as they don't have to be quite so careful - but I doubt it.
