Deposit Guarantee???

Hello everyone, this is the first time I have posted an article in this forum.

I am 24 and furiously saving a deposit for my first IP. I have read all sorts of books from Kiyosaki, Donnelly, Jenman, Somers etc and to tell you the truth I am somewhat confused by all the conflicting theories, promises of wealth and threats of financial ruin.

One question I have concerns deposit guarantees. What is one? How does it work? Has anyone used one before?

Excuse me if this is a rather basic question as I have only just started down the road of developing my "financial intelligence". Thanks.

Hi,

Are you talking about bank guarantees and/or deposit bonds ??

They are used as a substitute for the initial "cash" deposit - the guarantees are available from banks and the deposit bonds are available through insurance companies.

Is that the kind of info you required ?
