Any experiences with people getting their ducted heating units serviced. Was it worthwhile? Do you do it regularly? Has it identified any performance issues?

There are 2 units, one is an IP, the other a PPOR.
I know they both haven't been serviced for at least 3 years in the case of one and 5 years in the case of another. I haven't had any performance issues, but not knowing exactly what they do when they service, not sure if it picks up underperforming or inefficient devices.
