Well very fun thing happened to me in the running of boarding houses. It's been five years and never an issue then one old departing guest decides to lodge an application asking for a refund. He paid $150 a week and found out some other guests were paying $130. Claimed he needed the $20 a week back despite agreeing on $150 at the start. Can't believe they even heard it at NCAT. What a waste of time and money for everyone for the sake of about $300. But I was annoyed and also thought the process educational. I won, it was dismissed, we had a failed forced "chat" before having to go back in for it to be heard. Others were there and I got to see one case and a few others got to see us talking. All very stress free really and I'm not longer afraid or worried about the process at least!

Congrats - go in prepared, back your horse and you should come out on top (tenants are rarely that organised).
