Ya gotta be suspicious of zero history bidders. Over the years, I've followed quite a few items that were overbidded by zero history bidders to find the item re-listed later, highly suspect.
Now whenever I see a zero history bidder pushing up the price I drop out. It may well be an inexperienced buyer getting carried away with the competitive element of the auction but on the other hand, it's also way too easy to set up an account and put in dummy bids for your own item.
