Gas Heaters

Hi, I am buying a property that has an outlet for an LPG heater. Am assuming that Natural Gas would be more common. Have seen advertised heaters for LPG or Natural Gas but just wondering if you buy a heater for say LPG do they make converters so that you can use it on natural gas outlets also.

Thanks.

No, no converter. You have to get the jets changed over (same as for a gas cook-top). A relatively simple operation I would have thought, but one for which I was recently quoted 1/2 the cost of a whole new heater

I think if you look around you can actually get the normal type gas heaters that are already made to run on LPG not mains gas.

Try AGL or any of the heater manufacturers sites.

We have a small Rinnai mains gas heater which is great. Was about $800.
