I was not probably too clear about what I meant, but as the squatters are not renting, there is no lease, and they are actually friends of the owner who is now not here, and they will not move.
I was not meaning landlord insurance but general building insurance for a PPOR.
As one was already living there, and is still there (at the initial invitation of the owner) I wonder if the PPOR building insurance would cover any damage. I would not think so as the person was invited in, but just curious.
