After trolling for a while, researching and then purchasing in the last 6 months i settled on our first IP on Tuesday and leased it today. A big thanks to all the forum for their ideas, insights, problems and solutions in the interesting world of property investment.

Wisdom came from the forum!!

The process was made very smooth by having the right people in place when i needed them, conveyancer, bank! (surprise,surprise), re agent for purchase and rental, QS specialist and plenty of coffee.

Just had a call from the agent this morning, remember i'm in regional NSW so $$$ aren't that high, the tenant clears $2800 per week take home!! All he does is work in a big hole in the ground.
