Wylie has just shown a link above that explains that bones "do" grow faster than muscle in some - and therefore it is possible that "growing pains" and Osgood-Schlatter may be linked ... and if kids can suffer from this condition as a pre-teen - why couldn't not not suffer from it all their growing period.
Strangely enough - or perhaps not - junior always seems to get the pains significantly worse during a "growth" spurt ... that is ... a period where she grows quickly and measurably in a short space of time.

If you actually sit down and rationalise it (something women struggle with I know ) you would more than likely find the aches are likely to coincide with increased physical activity.

As I've alluded to, if you're regularly visiting a chiropactor, then you aren't treating the cause of the issue.
What a load of rubbish. Chiropractors indeed try to remove the cause of issues. I have had hip issues and now shoulder issues. Chiro is helping to manage the cause, hopefully will help my muscles strengthen enough to hold my shoulder in the position it needs to be in to allow the tendon to glide through the shoulder without the narrowing of the joint, caused by my posture. Chiro and physio are helping enormously. They are focusing on the cause. No quick ten minute visit like happens at the doctor.
Again, what would you know about me, my chiro or my shoulder. Pfffft! (My chiro is amazing.)

Pilates is great. But the cause is not always 'postural'. Mine came about after sitting writing and at a computer for up to 16 hours a day--it had nothing to do with posture.

Pilates is good. I've done it for years, on and off.
It costs me $12 for a chiro visit. Hardly stringing me along in order to make herself rich...

If you've got imbalances, then you've had bad habits, accept it, rectify it, move on.
I am getting somewhere. I am getting results. I am doing exercises that are helping my shoulder to sit and stay in the correct position. I don't have bad habits as such, I have a slight leg length difference that isn't noticeable to the eye but has a knock-on effect for my whole skeletal set up... but what would I know? You don't know me, but you clearly know best... clearly you know more than my physio and chiro. Thanks for the advice
I don't know why I'm even bothering to answer this.
I also see a foot doctor who is helping with orthotics. Is that silly too? I think he might have a yacht soon.

I think you have a sensitivity issue.
Somebody tries to steer you in the right direction, simplify it for you.
Anyway it sounds like you've got all bases covered and enjoy the drama.
