Height of bathroom tiles ?

Hi
My son-in-law asked me "How high should we tile in the bathroom to maximise resale value?"

They have a very small bathroom in a 2 bedroom house in a complex at Yatala QLD.

I thought I would ask here to see what you think about his question.

Thanks for any assistance you can give us.

me personally having lived in fully-tiled and half-tiled places, for a PPOR I'd always go the full-tiled.
I think the mould on the paint put me off. Then I bleached the mould and the chlorine burnt the paint which fell off in chunks and that put me off even more :)
Seriously, I like full tiles. They just feel nicer

Depends on ceiling height.

If it's a standard height then floor to ceiling ... when we've reno'd something with 3m+ ceilings we only go to just below top of door level.

Thanks for the replies so far :)
My daughter has read these posts and a decision has been made !!!

Quote .... "So floor to ceiling it is! "

Thanks heaps everyone :)

Can always consider a midway point. I renoveted mums place which was a 2 bed unit original value ~300k, in the shower alcove its floor to ceiling, above the bath it comes up about 1600 with a glass feature strip and stainless edging. Overall it doesn't look as nice as floor to ceiling but it was heaps quicker and feels better than project style 2 tiles up around the bath/vanity then 1800 around the shower.

Floor to ceiling look best when the existing cornice is removed before tiling.

Advantage

Ceilings can be out of level.
No precise cutting of tiles to existing cornice.
Finished job look provisional.
