Help with MS Excel - Rendering Functions to Fixed Data

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me out with this, I'm not even sure if it's possible to do in Excel. Say I have two columns, the first is:

1
2
3

and the second is:

=A1+5
=A2+5
=A3+5

So the sheet looks like this:

1 6
2 7
3 8

Now, what I'd like to do is render column B, so that instead of B2 containing '=A2+5' for example, the cell actually just contains '7', so that changes to column A no longer affect column B.

Is it possible? If so, please tell me how

Highlight the column. Copy, paste special and select values and enter. Effectively you are pasting the values over the top of the existing formulas
