I discovered the forums last week and have been reading avidly since.
A bit about me - I work as a business analyst and enjoy computer games, the gym, movies and eating out. I've got 2 residential properties and have accumulated some equity in them. My wife and I are expecting our first kid next month and putting aside $$ in anticipation of everything that will follow. Not much left to spend after that given that we're on a single income now.
Originally, I trawled through the site to get info on Residential Developments, but have since discovered the allure of Commercial Property and cash flow. I've decided that I'll investigate them further and at the moment have been doing some basic searches for CIP's <$500k. Once I have a list of ten prospects that I like, I'm going to look for a due diligence checklist and then begin the nitty-gritty.
I'll be attending the Melbourne Investment Night, so if you see a guy with orange spectacles, come on over and socialise
