Haha. I don't even need to read the article to have a good chuckle at the premise. Elements of the article are certainly true though. # 1 had a very structured/protected life and this progressively reduced until # 4, where she basically roams around doing whatever she wants. We don't use child gates, haven't sterilised a bottle since # 3 etc. However, if you asked my wife if she was more relaxed with 4, ensure you are out of her slap range.

The best line I've heard is that the number of children you have at the time is the number of children you can handle. We struggled when we had 1, then 2, then 3, and now 4. We often comment on how easy life would be if we had stopped at a lesser number, but the truth is we would be in a similar boat.
