what's happening out this way?

sentiment? residential? commercial?

looking at a few options - one is quite cheap where i can get some mixed use in the CBD. thought maybe offices and a good number of 2x2s.

i know rents aren't drug money any more but there may be some NRAS available in the area soon, hoping to capitalise on this for a client.

I would def go residential, There a fair few shops closing down, And alot trying to lease them out. Why invest in Kal? Almost the same rental return in Perth with way less risk. I know of 4 mines that have shut in the past 2 weeks around Kal an many more looking at care an maintenance. I only have the one house here and im watching it very close. But in saying that there is a huge Liquor super store being build, And from what i have heard also a massive BCF is being built across the road from Bunnings
 
But from what i have been told the houses are selling, Boss sold his 2 weeks ago. Paid 450,000 for in 2009 and sold it for 530,000 couple weeks ago. Was on the market for no longer than 3 weeks. Pretty good i thought.
