led sensor lights

has anyone bought any? what do you think of them?
im looking at getting a few to replace normal lights outside the house so i dont turn it on then forget to turn it off
just wondering if others have liked them or had trouble with them?
and what they paid?
theres a heap going really cheap on ebay but assuming they would be terrible since there like $1 and free post
also what sort of wattage would you need? i dont really understand how bright they would be as the wattage isnt comparable to the older style globes

Using $20 one from Bunning - not very bright but ok to see your way about. Not ok if you want to really blind an intruder....

For comparison, a 10W LED is about the same as a 75W incandescent (about 600 lumen).

I reckon the cheapy light is less than 1 watt. My 200 lumen LED torch is brighter.

Buy from costco led censor light

A censor light wouldn't work well. It would go dark every time you did something naughty.

A sensor light however may work better.
