As part of my research into areas I always look into what the council is saying, planning, doing. I teach my students to do this research but I don't think anyone really believes me about how much information is available until they check it out themselves.
I researched Gladstone a few years ago, and I know it is still a hot topic now hence the comment, but the amount of $$$ research they had commissioned into plans for the area, socio-economic, demographic, housing, investment was extraordinary.
It is often a pain tracking down a list of all the Councils you are researching, however I found one day which lists them all with links. So thought I would share it with those looking for another resource to through in their research toolbox.
