.My 22 year old son had seven friends sitting around our dining table in December for his birthday. Only one still lived at home. Three had moved into a rental with each other. My son had just bought, but not settled, his first home. Another owned his own apartment, but was the only one older than 21 (he was 32).
These were not high flyers, and none were in high paying jobs, though all had finished (or were finishing) uni degrees. Only two were working in the industry they had spent years (and a motza in HECS fees) training for.
