Mount Druitt, NSW

I just made a thread re mount druitt, and seen this thread

looks positive!

i bought my unit for 210K - anyone know if that price was decent?

maybe i should consider buying another unit there? anyone know if the bank would lend me more money? considering im only making 50K a year and already owe 180k?

hythe street.. 2 bedrooms plus a study

across from police station/ westfields

you think thats expensive? ive heard quite different

In Hythe St? How old is it? You can get 2 bedders much cheaper, as Lil suggested, however I am presuming that this is a more modern unit. How much are you getting for rent?

yeah that is hythe street.. and units there are apparently selling for 230 now?

its quite modern..

i think Nathan from here knows which units i mean

26a hythe

Units for $230K??? 3 years ago I bought a 3 bedroom house on 700 sq m for just $200K in the same area.

Currently tenanting @ $260 though I could raise it to $280-290 if I wanted.

You will be paying additional money in strata and other corporate fees which will diminish your cash flow. I would have negotiated down closer to 205K

Hi,

I was just reading this thread. What about investing in a Unit in Hythe St or Luxford St in Mt Druitt. Seems rental market is very good and yield is nice?

I am looking for investment and if anyone can help me whether investing a Unit in Mt Druitt will be good?

Cheers
