I just heard that casey central is going throgh a massive expoansion by Westfield. Any thoughts on quick capital gain if we buy closer to the area.? Cheers

Honestly don't think it will have much of an impact, it's really just an expansion of the shopping centre. Great for the local area, but hard to see it having any impact on CG

I heard of this happening as well and its good to see the Casey local government continually planning.

I would say that there will be no impact on growth. A few years ago GPT group invested a large sum of funds into their highpoint shopping center. It has become a leading shopping complex in Melbourne.

The surrounding suburbs have grown in terms of capital growth in recent times but this has had a small impact on the growth, real growth has come from the popular school in certain zones, great transport and close proximately to the CBD.
