Need someone for laminated floor in Melbourne

Can anyone recommend tradies for laying laminated flooring in Melbourne area? I have a quote for $25 per sq m, but it comes more expensive than the laminate itself. There are approx. 45 sq m. Need someone soon.

I can recomend some one who is probably the best in Melb, however if you are looking for a better price, good luck. $25 per metre was the going rate a few years ago, and the best in the trade will charge more than that now.
As the saying goes, pay peanuts , get monkeys.
The alternative is to do it yourself!

I wanted to do it myself but my holiday is over, so I'm running out of time. I've just rang a tradesman from local newspaper and got $20 per sq m quote,but he's not available soon . 4 others I rang are all $25.

Could you please give me the contact details, if all are the same price, I would consider one with recommendation, if available soon.

I wouldn't agree on peanuts and monkeys completely. It may be true for some things, but it pays off to ring around and find best price. Most often I wasn't dissapointed. And saved a lot $$$.
