S scientist 20th Oct, 2014 #1 What's the procedure (if any) needed to connect a new stormwater pipe to the kerb gutter? I'll need to hire a concrete cutter to cut away a bit of the footpath and kerb, then I'll lay the pipe and patch up everything with concrete myself.

B bashworth 20th Oct, 2014 #2 You will need to get permission to discharge from the council, and you will probably need to get a kerb outlet (see photo at this link http://www.anewhouse.com.au/2014/08/stormwater-discharge-point/) rather than 'Patch up with Concrete'.
