NSW rates and water

Hi

Just bought my 3IP in NSW and is the 1st interstate , do I pay the water or does the tenant ????

This sounds right...

My previous post is wrong (after i double checked) I pay for my qld water up to a certain usage, i can't remember what the amount is but if it goes beyond that the tenant pays the rest.

Each unit gets billed the same amount.

they average the usage out between the units. i've been to houses where the meter has been underground for the last 10 years, God knows how they work their bills out?

If there's only one meter for a block of units the tenant does not pay for water in NSW

Same in Vic - if not separately metered, the landlord pays it all. If separately metered, the tenant pays for usage and landlord pays everything else.
