% of Aussie who own IP's

Does anyone know how many (or ~%) of Australians own Invenstment Properties? Can't remember where I read it recently. On this forum or somewhere else. Also gives the % of investment property owners who own more than 5 properties.

According to the RBA in 2004 the number was 10.3%, ABS data showed 78% of these has only 1 property.

So 2.2% of the population own 2+ investment properties.

According to the ABS population clock, that equals about 471,000 people... sounds a bit high to me.

I wonder how many have 10+...
