Olympic dam not going ahead

Hi All

First ever post on here, but was just watching the news hearing that the
$30bn olympic dam expansion is NOT going ahead. what is every one's thoughts???

I have previously spoken to people that have bought down there hoping it would end up like moranbah, gladstone, Port Hedland Etc.

Sounds like there in for a rough ride.... MAYBE?????

OD was always a little on the risky side as to whether it would proceed ornot for donkeys years.

I was one of the ones keeping my eye out on the properties down there, but luckily didn't invest there.

That's the risk, I suppose, with investing based only on speculative reasons such as anticipated projects.
