Outstanding Fire Order on property and pending sale

I have recently exchanged contracts to sell my apartment, where there is an outstanding fire order on the building. I don't believe the purchasers have done a strata search prior to purchase and their solicitors have come back now to request the current status of the order and what is being done to comply. I am currently trying to get this information from the Body Corporate to pass on.

I would like to know if this could affect the settlement of the property? If I can't get the information from the Body Corporate for a few days, can the purchaser delay settlement on these grounds?

They paid 10% deposit..

If it was their fault they didn't do the strata search, is there any circumstance where they can back out now?
