Painting a Vanity benchtop?

Any one painted a vanity bench top?
White Knight don't seem to have a product for it.
Whilst I can paint wall tiles and the vanity cupboards, and plan to replace the faded plastic basin - I can't find anything that says okay for the bench top of the vanity.

I found an interesting product in competion with White Knight called Plasticoat / Plastikote.

The seem to have some "different" products including very high heat (650 C) resistant spray paint (not game to try it on an oven or hot plate), but nothing seem to suit a vanity bench top.

Regards and thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to relaminate the bench top?

Laminate comes in cover sheets, you cut it to fit, spread the glue, then iron it on. I have watched my cabinet maker do it, so if you weren't confident to do it yourself perhaps a local cabinet maker could do the job.

The sheets are only a few mm thick, you wouldn't need to do anything else except perhaps regrout with flexible grout around the basin and the join where it meets the wall tiles

Hope this helps
