Do you mean Spencer on the Hawksbury River ?
Would this be an investment decision or a lifestyle decision ?
As an investment area it just wouldn't appear on my radar.
Too remote, I wouldn't expect the area to grow in desirability. I'm sure it appeals to some but I wouldn't expect this appeal to broaden.
Perhaps I have the wrong town.

Saucy, yes you have the right town. I work mostly in this area so it would be more of a ppor with convenience an d affordability for me. For resale or renting I imagine it would not be too popular.
My move up that way will be a while off since I have only just got my first ppor but am thinking ahead so I can hopefully find opportunities and make it happen sooner.
I haven't met anyone Spencer appeals to. It seems a bit of an alternative place full of hermits. I am interested to hear your knowledge and opinion of it.

I only know of it due to riding my motorbike round the area.
I usually just go thru it, sometimes stop for a bite and a stretch.
Looks pretty quiet, don't know how renting a place there would go or if you purchased as a PPOR how easy it would be to off load.
