qld stamp duty refundable ?

We bought a property in Brissy last November with the view to move in sometime this year. Because we borrowed an investment loan so there was no rebate on the stamp duty. The property has always been intended to be our home, can we ask for the $7000 stamp duty rebate when we move in few months time ?

I'd confirm with someone else but I think you can as long as you move in within 12-months of purchase....

We did precisely that a few years ago. Was no problem.
