Shopping Centres

Does anyone know of any shopping centres (like a Westfields, but I'm sure they don't do this) that have their tenancies/shops strate'd and have onsold those lots to investors?

If such a thing does not exist, can anyone bring up some pros/cons of this type of investment.

Would you invest in this type of product?

For the excercise lets assume that the centre will be managed by a shopping centre management specialist who has extensive experience and understands the importance of tenancy mix in shopping centres.

I'm really looking forward to other people's thoughts on this one.

hi JoannaK
there is a real estate group in bondi jct here in sydney that sells shopping centers and the shops in the centers they are usually in the business section of the sydney morning herald on saturday where the da site are under investments.
they are not high returns as they are a higher management fee and they are dependant on the number of people thru the center thats what those counters are on doors as you go in.
they are the smaller centers
the others are listed trusts, centro, westfields, bycorp.etc
