Students -your greatest property teacher?
There is a saying that goes 'Those that can - DO; those that can't DO - teach; and those that can't teach - consult.'
The other day I thought about the development of seminar presenters. Why would someone want to become a seminar presenter. Is it the boost to ones ego? The increase in sales of complimentary services or products to the masses? The revenue gained from seminar ticket sales?
Or is it………….. The simple fact that you can learn more from your students?
I see the continual refinement and development of a property investor is gained through being able to test your own beliefs and strategies on the many individual investor case studies that you will come across as a teacher. Provided that the teacher……… remembers to listen and is already taking action.
Do you listen to your students? Why would you run a property ‘education’ seminar?
