stumps or concrete slab?

just wondering, I get asked that question or insurance all the time, how will that affect my premium?

is one more expensive then the other????

im assuming its easier to tile or float FBS over concrete slab instead of wood?

Putting my thinking cap on its probably more expensive to repair a concrete slab house as everything is set into the concrete like plumbing etc. if there is a fire then how do they replumb.

On the plus side its less of a fire hazard. A stumped house probably burns better but is easier to repair.

When does a fire ever reach the sub floor these days? Its always the roof that cops it!

Water damage is always a problem also.
