Sydney - 770,000 homes by 2036

Hi everyone,

Here is a link to the Sydney 2036 Discussion Paper just released by the NSW Department of Planning. It discusses, among many other things, the need for another 770,000 homes in Sydney by 2036.

upping the zoning and height limits is all they have left.

I don't know Sydney too well but isn't there a heap of un-developed land out West before the mountains that is still farm land? Just out around the Northern Road?

there is land but lack of infrastructure. if we got the north-west rail link years ago like we should have, would have helped a lot.
