I am a state sales manager and as such I train in diffrent software programs every coupel of years , well this year my wife became a trainer and started her own business and i used her for training me on MS publisher will he fees be deductable or is there some clause regading sposes ?

If she charges you standard market rates and gives you a proper invoice you can claim it as a tax deduction. On the other side of the coin she also needs to declare the revenue and sort GST etc.
