Template for colours

Hi All

I am not particularly good with colours, hoping someone out there has a template that is working well for them in terms of what people want.

Currently at the stage where I need to pick my internal colours.

I want to achieve a larger look for the villas, basically want to keep one colour though out the 3 villas for every room as I have colour in tile features etc.

Can anyone give me an idea what is working for you in your developments at the moment.

I was thinking antique white USA for skirtings and doors, high gloss.

I am really just after suggestions and then I can at least start somewhere.

I hate this part of developing.
Thanks

It totally depends on what colours you have your kitchens/bathrooms/tiles

I have used Hogsbristle 50% on internal walls with 25% on trim successfully on quite a few.

Lately I'm thinking Hogsbristle is a bit too warm for some colour schemes, mainly ones which are predominately white.

A good cool and warm colour is Dulux Brume. 1/4 stregth for small rooms (ie bedrooms) 1/2 strength for larger. Goes well with Lexicon 1/2 tint on trim

Another is Solver Smoke Pearl with Solver Designer White trim

Thanks WM
As much as I like Hogs B I agree with you.
OK, first thing tomorrow will check out the other colours you mentioned.

What about skirtings?

All my rooms are small so that's easy

Skirtings comes under trim so the same colour as that.

I really like greys, smoke pearl looks nice. I have Hog bristle half in PPOR and quarter in an IP, and antique white USA in another IP, all nice colours but time for a change!

Just an update, I met up with my interior designer friend who helped me with my colours, so here are some more ideas for interior selection -

Pebble Bay (Taubmans) - 50% strength
If you want crisp/clean look

Timber/door/skirting trims
Solver WA White

(was told that the US Antique white can be too yellow)
