is it in a flood zone? high tide mark on left of property kinda gives it away.

Yeah, the flood maps for Deagon are pretty much all blue. Shame, it's a nice area.

Agree, beautiful area. I once got it into my head to buy a milkbar in Sandgate on Brighton Terrace nearby Deagon. Drove up and down the whole area to Brighton, then crossed the Houghton Highway to Clontarf, Margate, then Redcliffe and back to Sandgate, then to the The Palms Hotel in Virginia where I was staying. Noticed a lot of boutique apartment buildings were empty and selling near the Redcliffe foreshore, I wonder whether the apartments finally did sell or not.
 
Back in the olden days, Redcliffe was the scourge of brisbane, its quit upwardly mobile now. Many a fish and chips I've had on the foreshore at Reddo.
