Yes the Greenspan announcement........ even if as most commentators are saying the rise will be .25% (possibly .5%) . i think the significance and follow on for the Aus scene will cause much concern.

After this all we need is the date for our federal election, as it is highly likely we would lift rates after this following the US lead.

I am curious though as to how many people (with the banks help of course) factored in an extra 1-2 % rate rise in their calculations...

Im not that confident about a 1-2% increase occurring any time soon.

1/2% tops for the rest of 2004. Any bets on it.
