Sadly today l witnessed 30 people being told their jobs finish in 1 months time.
I did expect this but in 6 months time and not to the extent of today.Its hitting a lot faster than a lot may have expected.
No not mining jobs. But a job is a job is a job.

Care to elaborate the industry?

It is very sad when someone loses their job and have mouths to feed. Although no big fan of govts in general, I commend Rudd and his team in actually taking some action to avert a complete meltdown, be it right or wrong initiatives, at least they are trying to do something.

In Mandurah or Perth...?

here in Mandurah.
Apparently, thes positions are going to be put out to contractors. It,s going to be more economical for the business owner.
I would prefer not to give out any more details of the business as at this stage as l still have my job.
It,s not a Govt department of any kind.
