Thoughts on Keswick, Adelaide.

Anyone looked into Keswick in Adelaide? 2.5 km from the city. Good yield on appartments. Close to shopping centre and train line? Pretty affordable. Apartments for low 200s.

Inner west isnt as well regarded as the other inner areas on the other compass sides, imho.

Still, i'd avoid apartments and look for houses or separate units (or villas as some states call them? :p)

Same as what DT said. I would just avoid apartments. Long term I think it would be a good place to invest in being so close and cheaper than all the other CBD surroundings. I occasionally look at places in the area.

Keswick is a very patchy suburb. Many light industrial sites, commercial, retail, hospital etc. A few nice streets with early 20 centrury houses, many multi storey units of poor quality and questionable tenants... train is unimportant if you are that close to CBD...
There are much better although more expensive areas nearby like Clarence park or Black Forest. Look there :)
