Yes, finally sold our house which went unconditional yesterday. Had a few moments of panic about our 'non council' approved conservatory at the back, which always occurs Friday afternoon so you have to sweat all weekend, but that was soon sorted out and so after a year on the market - we sold.
Cant wait to shift into our 'new' one - a big renovators opportunity. Very solid brick home with large rooms, built by a builder with no imagination. Needs new kitchen, bathrooms, add an ensuite wir, re-arrange a few walls etc. Decks all round looking over wetlands, over Corio bay, out to the You Yangs, so all North and West, fabulous sunsets, etc. We are going to extend the back deck into a conservatory sunroom. Rip up the whole concrete front garden and plant modern garden. Back in the painting gear again (as someone here says) Yeah!!!
