Vacany rates - where to find them?

Hi all,

I'm researching commercial property for a client, particularly around Northcote, Victoria. I've been trying to track down a source for average vacancy rates, rents, and a breakdown of what's in the area (retail, office space, industrial etc), but I'm coming up empty - apart from piecing together local newspaper articles.

I want to have an idea of what I'm talking about before I start talking to agents.

Is there anywhere I can get this information?

Research departments from the likes of CBRE/JLL/Colliers/Knight Frank all issue property data for areas they service. Most of the data is sourced from the Property Council of Australia.
