What type of jobs are there in the mining industry?

Virtually any - all trades (electricians/plumbers etc) and skilled and unskilled labour, machinary/heavy vehicle operators, cleaners, cooks, admin and on and on.
A decent sized minesight is basically a small town requiring all the same services of such - just usually more remote and with more $'s.
