Pretty much the above for me as well - though I've already mostly resumed my lurker status anyway. It has been fun all and all the best, If I pop up in the new site I'll likely be a different name.

Any further updates? This is one I've been keeping an eye on.

What sort of rental return would these get? If structurally sound a 250k pick up and 20k reno on both (10k each) could be viable.

I got a headache just looking at the colour scheme :eek: To niche for me to even seriously consider as an investment.

Have you considered interstate? As Sash says in the post above mine Brisbane is where I'm looking now. Perth I think the horse may not have bolted but it's definetely not in the stable. Understandable if you want to keep things central to your location and/or potentially property manage...

Am tempted to buy a ticket and will read the web page in detail later - Can anyone vouch for this draw? the odds looked ok at 1 in ~1.2 million compared with traditional lotto and it would meet my goal of being able to retire should I choose to.

Having said the above I have mixed feelings about it it looks and feels very good and I don't have to mow or water but it still does have weeds grow through that I have to spray periodically which irritates me but this is a bi annual spray so not to intensive and they don't sprout all over just...

I would actually seriously consider it - all wins from my point of view tap into more experienced investors watch learn and ride coat tails.

IMO avoid unless the numbers are great and/or there is a possibility to renovate the property to have a nook style laundry.
