Forum etiquette, for some, sadly missing !

Yes I was totally cheesed off when I simply posted a link to the WW thread in the coffee lounge and copped all these insults, especially from this new dude HomeBUyAU calling it "the most stupid and useless thread created in 2010". He calls me a fool and dumb and all that. And this Rachel...

Forum etiquette, for some, sadly missing !

Running out of your arsenal of decent language, now it's 4 letter word. Very charming. PLs do because you clowns are not adding any value & all of u are not welcome, or better still u can all disappear. This thread was not connected to the WW thread in any way shape or form until you clowns...

Hey dude u r all confused. That's the insulting words from this dude Homebuyau. Must be too late for u ! So far I've been refrained from being rude, I know how to be rude, bring it on, I am having more fun.

Yep u r the biggest joke. You know it was more than that. So should we have a recommendation from SS from now on to use "useless, dumb, stupid, most stupid, fool, a.... etc." on each other. I bet you would love it when someone call you that. Next time when I see any post from Piston Broke I...

Forum etiquette, for some, sadly missing !

Just listen to the abrasive tone in a very very short post, and no I refuse to use the s word, you didn't get your fact straight before opening the mouth. Remember gutter quarrels & lowering SS standards ?! If a thread you don't like, just move on go to other threads, there are plenty, it...

Why all the D&G on this forum now ?!

Sunfish, I am sure you will still be on SS in year 2050. :) If one has enough cashflow and buffer, and not looking to refinance why does a high (or low) LVR matter ?

Forum etiquette, for some, sadly missing !

Yes agree those individuals don't mean one raspberry, but do they have to be so unpleasant ? It's more the personality of certain posters and it reflects on their comments in the forum - total lack of respect for fellow SS members. Someone uses disrespectful/deroglative terms in real life will...

Forum etiquette, for some, sadly missing !

I thought SS was a relatively civilized & intelligent forum but lately I noticed a shift, for the worse. I don't mind people have different opinions. But for some relatively newcomers and 1 or 2 particular posters it seems okay to personal attacks & use unrespectful terms such as : most stupid...

    Music

I downloaded may be 1 or 2 songs at the most, hard to keep up with the technology. At least RE is a step up from the "Financial Planning" scams/ripoffs. FP would have to be at the top of my most despised list. (wish someone can give a more appropriate name what that BS industry actually is)
  12. on the move

Could a fulltime worker live in one of these or would it be too noisy ect..

Very charming (came from the mouth of a paraFP !), SS doesn't allow such filthy language, unlike other gutter forums you may frequent.

    I think I could retire...

Yes Rob Williams, sometimes hard to tell if it's a joke or not. "Lighten up" is the word, some people are far too uptight in this forum, or in the world, I am sure you are not one of them.

US foreclosures - Boholt Seminars - NO

Sydney woman Kathy Graffiti bought three properties in upstate New York in 2005 and estimates she has lost between $300,000 and $400,000 on her investment.

    I think I could retire...

Unless you have something to keep you occupied, otherwise 365days/yr 24hrs/day 60min/hr 60 sec/min..... I have one year off, the first couple of months was good then the novelty worn off.

How to repair flood damage on a property ?

With widespread flooding in QLD, just think once a house is flooded, how do you repair the damage. Even if you can just paint over, the damages/flood marks are still very visible. So do you have to bulldoze the house and build again ?

    Sinking floor

Bought a house in NZ, as one end of the floor sank further, the previous "owner" (I call him something else as he used furniture to disguise the sinking floor as well) just saw off part of the bottom of the doors so they would close (didn't see that until I got possession of the house).

    Bundaberg/bargara area potential??

Almost bought a shop near the water few years back. But at that time the house prices already not much cheaper than Melbourne.
