anyone know how to remove blue tacked embedded and stuck firmly in carpet.

it makes cark balck bloches in an otherwise light carpet. I've tried to scratch it out but doesnt seem to budge. would something dissolve it without ruining the carpet?

I haven't tried it, but maybe some freeze spray will harden it so you can remove it??

i just googled and found heaps of answers f
buying from chemists stuff that freezes warts,
olive oil with an ear bud helps it slide off
eucalyptus oil
freezing with ice pack
heating with steamer or blowdryer.

so have some ideas to try . thanks.

Amway pre waash spray is great for stripping chewing gum.

Blu tack may not have enough grease in it though

We recently had our carpets shampooed. The carpet guy said to use eucalyptus oil on blue tac.

yeah would also recommend eucalyptus oil, its got a very strong smell but works a treat

thanks so much. I actually like the smell of eucaluptus oil

i found you need to use double as much Eucalyptus OIL as you would think you'd need, really scractch it all up then i used a steam mop on it and doing that a couple of times did seem to work. FANTASTIC.
