ANZ chief economist comments on WA market

Today's thewest published an article by ANZ chief economist. Main points are:

1 - house market will not crash
2 - price will be stablising
3 - This time is different to 90's
4 - lower vacancy, lower unemployment, stronger economy, lower interest rate compared to 90s

What do you think

Townsville is doing 50% of Perth and for the same reasons. I agree that "It is different" this time and I'm seriously considering taking out a big mortgage on a PPOR. Will do an inspection with the Child Bride tommorow.

I'm sure both friends and foes will appreciate the irony of this.

Thanks Tizzy. I did search thewest but could not find (I read from hard copy).

I fully agree with ANZ comments. The lawnmower can make >$400 a day, you can expect how good the economy is.

I remember Dazzling (a fellow forum member) said we have seen 1 in 100 year opportunity happening here, and if you can not make money, you will not make anywhere else (not his origional words).

Buy wise is important.

The Analyst I do it the easy way with google alerts. Just set up "Perth property" and you'll get all the main stuff each day sent to your email address. I've got Google alerts set up for lots of issues because I haven't got enough time to read all the main newspapers.
