gosh - i just transfer the figures off my accounting system to the one page sheet of paper, put it in the envelope provided, drop in on the "post" pile ... a week later the money is in my account.

no stress.

I lodge my BAS Q and via AUSkey - with no dramas to date.

Pity I don't get money back - but hey - must be in a profitable business (besides investing) to pay taxes

aaaah - yes - i'm still in startup so haven't had to pay any gst yet.

Tell me about it! But at least I know it wasn't just on my end - when I logged back in again (for like the 5th attempt) there was a message saying 'to those having trouble lodging their BAS, deadline has been extended to 23rd without penalty.'

Useless system.
